Position Function

Provide leadership and oversight for the following offices: Student Rights & Community Standards; Title IX; Office of Health, Alcohol & Drug Education and Victim Services. Participate as a senior member of the Student Affairs and Enrollment Services leadership team and contribute to the division’s planning, program evaluation, budget development and policy formation.

Minimum Education

Masters degree.

Minimum Experience

At least ten years of experience working in higher education.

Preferred Education

Doctoral Degree.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with student programs, discipline processes and supervisory background in primary job functions.

Preferred Other
Pre-Employment Screening Requires successful completion of a background check.

Participate with the VP and leadership team in defining the role and mission of SAES and work to communicate these to all institutional publics.

Lead and supervise the functions within the Dean of Students office, Student Rights and Community Standards,Title IX; Office of Health, Alcohol & Drug Education and Victim Services.

Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to develop student policies and updates to the Code of Student Rights & Responsibilities.

Serve as SAES representative on other high level institutional committees.

Provide guidance and advice to the Vice President for budget and personnel matters.

Coordinate efforts pertaining to students who have serious emotional and psychological problems, work with sensitive situations and information from internal and external sources.
