Description

Teach courses in the graduate and undergraduate programs’ interdisciplinary curricula; generate peer-reviewed research, grants, and built/creative works.

Minimum Qualifications

M.L.A. in landscape architecture or B.L.A. and a terminal degree in a design-related discipline; demonstrated ability to teach design studio (design process, land/site analysis, design development, design implementation, design assessment, design methods) and to teach in one of the following: design communications, digital applications, design implementation, interdisciplinary foundational level design; on track toward or have an established area of funded/published research and/or professional planning/design work significant to the field of landscape architecture; demonstrated focus in a scholarly/professional area transferable to courses taught in the landscape architecture professional curricula.

Preferred Qualifications

One of more of the following:
- Five or more years of teaching experience in accredited landscape architecture program;
- Five or more years of recent professional practice; professional licensure;
- Established area of nationally recognized scholarship and/or authorship of significant professional planning/design works;
- Ph.D. in landscape architecture or related discipline.
